We are happy to announce a follow-up to the very successful “Conversation on Race” luncheon on February 8 at Eight4Nine. This is another opportunity to both continue the important discussion of race and racism and to involve more women.
The event will be hosted by author and engaging motivational speaker, Lauren Nile, and will include interactive exercises, videos, group discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Too often, issues of racial inequity are discussed only after televised encounters of African Americans with law enforcement. The purpose of this event is for us to engage in a civil dialogue that leads to greater racial understanding.
